Summer 2013 application cycle

Summer Financial Aid Deadline. Submit California Western Summer 2013 Financial Aid Application to Financial Aid Office.  Applicants for Summer Break Federal Work-Study must submit all materials by this date, including their Summer Break Federal Work-Study Application, 2013-2014 FAFSA, and California Western Financial Aid Application for the Fall term.

April 30 - First Week of May, 2013

Summer disbursements available at the Business Office no earlier than the first day of classes. A student's financial aid file must be complete before a disbursement can be made; students selected for verification must have submitted all their verification documents before their files can be considered complete.

First Week of May, 2013

The Federal Work-Study job book will become available at the Financial Aid Office counter. Students must have received an award notification showing an FWS award to be able to apply for these positions.

Fall/Spring 2013-14 or Fall Only 2013 application cycle

April 1, 2013
Fall Financial Aid Deadline.  Submit California Western Financial Aid Application to Financial Aid Office.  Submit your 2013-2014 FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA to the Federal processor by this date.  Exception: new students admitted for the fall term after March 18 must submit their California Western Financial Aid Application and FAFSA within two weeks of their admission date, or be considered late.

New students and first-time borrowers should complete their online Entrance Counseling sessions by now. All students must complete Entrance Counseling before receiving Federal aid for the first time at CWSL.
