'23 Graduate Joins SD Firm

We are pleased to announce that Dorothy Grafilo ’23 will be joining Garcia Hong Law APC as an Associate Attorney, handling general civil litigation matters, including breach of contract and personal injury. 

The firm noted that as a post-bar clerk with Garcia Hong, Dorothy showed “tremendous care for clients and championed social justice for the underserved. Dorothy's experience is a testament to our belief that legal advocacy can be a powerful tool in fostering inclusivity.” 

While at California Western, Dorothy was an intern with the Community Law Project, a research assistant with Professor Jeffries on prison and detention complexities, and a law clerk with the Disability Rights of California.  She was also on the Senior Board of the International Law Journal.
Dorothy is currently a member of Filipino American Lawyers of San Diego, Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego, and Women of Color in Law. 

Dorothy, who is a first-generation lawyer from an immigrant family, said, “I am really excited to join such an amazing team. I can’t wait to start my law career with them!”
