Alumnus Named Managing Partner
We are pleased to announce that Gerald “Jerry” V. Davino II ’94 is now the managing partner at the new Connecticut office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, a Florida-based firm specializing in employer rights, workers’ compensation defense, subrogation rights, and general liability. Jerry will spearhead the development of the new office, bringing with him nearly 30 years of experience in workers’ compensation.
Quintairos’s Managing Partner, Eric Boyer, remarked that "Gerald Davino has been a workers' compensation stronghold in Connecticut for decades. We are very excited to further build Jerry's workers’ compensation practice in this new market.”
Jerry himself said, "I've spent almost 30 years forging strong relationships and partnerships with colleagues and clients around the country, and moving to a firm like QPWB will allow us to maximize those relationships for both my clients and the firm.”
Jerry was previously managing partner at Testan Law, a California-based firm, where he worked in civil litigation for over 18 years. In 2012, he received the prestigious designation of Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) from the CLM's Litigation Management Institute held at Columbia University Law School. Jerry is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association and Workers' Compensation Section.
