Forbes Names CWSL Alumna Gayle Blatt ’85 to Top Ten Wrongful Death Lawyers in San Diego

SAN DIEGO (June 5, 2024) -- California Western School of Law (CWSL) is proud to announce that Gayle M. Blatt, Esq. ’85 has been named by Forbes Advisor as one of the top ten wrongful death lawyers in San Diego for 2024. 

Gayle is a partner at CaseyGerry, where she has worked for close to forty years. She currently leads the firm’s class action and pharmaceutical and medical device practice team and is one of few San Diego litigators who specialize in pharmaceutical and medical device cases. 

Forbes noted that Gayle is a three-time recipient of the Outstanding Trial Lawyer award from Consumer Attorneys of San Diego. She has also been named one of San Diego’s Most Influential Women by The Daily Transcript and one of the Top Women Lawyers in California by the Daily Journal. Gayle was recently named one of the Top Ten Super Lawyers in San Diego and one of the Top 25 Women Super Lawyers in San Diego for 2024. 

Gayle is a generous California Western School of Law supporter and sits on the Board of Trustees. She is the former president of Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, a Board member and former president of Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center.
