CWSL President and Dean Sean Scott Featured Speaker at ABA Deans' Workshop

SAN DIEGO (July 17, 2024) -- Sean M. Scott, President and Dean of California Western School of Law will be a featured speaker at the American Bar Association (ABA)’s annual Deans’ Workshop, hosted by Seattle University School of Law.

On July 19, Dean Scott will speak about ABA Standards changes and proposals, offering her insight on new standards and standards under consideration. 

A fierce advocate for principled legal education, Dean Scott has been a featured speaker at the ABA Deans’ Workshop for the last three years and was co-chair in 2023. She is the co-chair elect for the American Association of Law Schools, Section on Deans, having previously served on the Executive Committee. Dean Scott is also Co-President of the Society of American Law Teachers (SALT) and sits on the Board of Governors for the National Association of Standalone Graduate Schools.
