California Western School of Law (CWSL) students were awarded scholarships at the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association Annual Gala Dinner in December. The gala was attended by leaders in the community, faculty and students. The following students were recognized:

ABOUT SAN DIEGO LA RAZA LAWYERS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIPS 
The San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association (SDLARLA) SDLRLA Scholarship Fund law student scholarships are awarded to full-time law students in their second and third year of law school and part-time students who have completed a sufficient number of units equivalent to the first year of law school. Recipients are not limited to persons of a Latino/Latina background, instead, the scholarships are awarded to law students from a variety of backgrounds who have contributed to the betterment of the Latino community and demonstrated potential to succeed. The scholarships typically range from $1,000 to $5,000. Recipients are honored each year at the SDLRLA Annual Awards Dinner and Gala. Since 2007, the Scholarship Fund has proudly awarded over $600,000 to exceptional and dynamic law students.
