SAN DIEGO (May 14, 2025) – California Western School of Law (CWSL) is proud to announce that California Governor Gavin Newsom has appointed Jihan Maloney ’11 as a San Diego Superior Court Judge.

Jihan has served as a deputy district attorney at the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office since 2011, when she graduated magna cum laude from CWSL.

She will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge David Gill.
