California Western Alumni Reconnect at Mixer Sponsored by Signature Resolution

California Western School of Law (CWSL) kicked off 2025 with its first alumni mixer of the year on January 22, welcoming over 60 alumni to reconnect, expand their professional networks, and celebrate their shared Cal Western legacy. The event was generously sponsored by Signature Resolution.

The program featured Ann Murray, Business Development & Client Services Manager at Signature Resolution, who highlighted the importance of collaboration within the legal community. Alumni Association Board President Jordan Enright ’16 spoke about the growing strength of the alumni network, while CWSL President and Dean Sean Scott emphasized the crucial role of lawyers during times of crisis, referencing the community response to the recent Los Angeles wildfires: “Moments like these remind us of the impact we can have—individually and collectively.” 

Dean Scott also shared exciting updates about the school’s recent accomplishments:

   • A 34% increase in applications year to date, marking a record number of applications this year.

   • Over $240,000 raised in the past year for the Bar Study Support Fund, helping students cover the costs of preparing for and taking the bar.

   • $1.9 million raised last fiscal year for CWSL clinics, programs, and student scholarships.

The mixer was a testament to the strong bonds within the Cal Western alumni community and provided a vibrant space to foster new personal and professional connections.
