CWSL Alumna Rosy S. Meyerowitz '09 Assumes San Diego Judgeship
SAN DIEGO (June 28, 2024) -- California Western School of Law (CWSL) is pleased to announce that Rosy S. Meyerowitz '09 has been appointed Judge in the San Diego Superior Court. Rosy was elected to the Judgeship on March 5, 2024 and has since been appointed to the position by Governor Gavin Newsom, allowing her to assume the role immediately.
Rosy served most recently as Commissioner for the San Diego Superior Court, presiding over unlawful detainer cases in San Diego County. She previously worked for seven years in the San Diego Superior Court’s Legal Services Division as Managing Attorney and in the San Diego County District Attorney's Office as a Graduate Law Clerk and Deputy District Attorney.
While at California Western, Rosy clerked for the California Attorney General's Office and the San Diego County District Attorney's Office and interned with the California Western Innocence and Justice Clinic.
