CWSL Alumna Michelle Norris ’24 Published in Loyola University Chicago School of Law Journal of Regulatory Compliance
SAN DIEGO (June 20, 2024) -- Michelle Norris ’24 graduated from California Western School of Law (CWSL) this year and is already making waves in the legal field. Her article “Activating Antitrust Pinch Points: Microsoft’s Activision Merger Conundrum and International Irregularities in Antitrust Law” was published in the Spring issue of Loyola University Chicago School of Law’s Journal of Regulatory Compliance.
Drafted as part of the international business transaction course with Professor James Cooper, Michelle’s article analyzes “major pre-Brexit mega-mergers,” and “ventures to find a solution for the increased bureaucratic hurdles corporations now face with the uncertainty of expanding in a post-Brexit global economy.”
Michelle is a US Navy veteran and served for over nine years. While at California Western, she was the Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review, a three-time national competitor on the Appellate Moot Court team, and a member of the Public Service Honors Society, among many other accolades. She is currently studying for the July 2024 California Bar exam.
