California Western School of Law alumni and staff gathered to celebrate the second anniversary of the San Diego Unity Bar, a coalition dedicated to fostering collaboration among diverse bar associations and supporting a judiciary that reflects the communities it serves. 

An event highlight was the presentation of the San Diego Unity Bar Founders Award to alumnus Ramesses Surban ’15, recognizing his leadership as one of the organization's co-founders. The evening also featured opening remarks from Hon. Michael Groch ’92, presiding judge of the San Diego Superior Court, and brought together members of the California Western community, including alumni such as Lawyers Club President Mehry Mohseni ’15, Paul Yim ’25, and Luke Turner ’25, along with Tamra Lett and Austin Lucas from the Career and Professional Development Office.
