San Diego County Bar Association Recognizes CWSL Alumni and Staff at Annual Stepping Up to the Bar Gala

The San Diego County Bar Association held its annual Stepping Up to the Bar Gala, where our alumni and staff were recognized for their achievements. 

Judge Anthony Battaglia '74, received the 2025 Presidential Certificate of Recognition for Civics & Civility. 

The DEI Division received a certificate with a specific nod to the Anti-Racism Subgroup, led by Assistant Director of Employment Reporting and Graduate Advising, Austin Lucas. 

Gayani Weerasinghe '13 will serve as the 2026 Secretary; Andrew Feaster '17 and Heather Melone '05 will serve three-year terms on the Board; Sarah Garrick ‘10 will continue her service on the Board in 2026; and Lillian Glenister '21 will serve a one-year term on the Board as the 2026 Chair of the Association's New Lawyer Division.
