Scott B. Ehrlich

Professor Ehrlich has been teaching at California Western since 1980 and was Associate Dean for Administration from 1996-1999. While serving as Associate Dean he coordinated the construction of the law library and renovation of the classroom building. Prior to teaching, he practiced real estate finance law in New York City and Northern California. In 1979, he left law practice to pursue his LL.M. at Harvard. Prof. Ehrlich returned to Harvard in 1986 as a Visiting Scholar. He has taught law in programs in London and New Zealand. He has written and co-authored several unique educational programs that focus on the cognitive and psychological aspects of law study.

In 2009, Prof. Ehrlich published a classroom casebook on Business Planning with the prestigious publisher, LEXIS/NEXIS.

Active in the San Diego community, Prof. Ehrlich co-founded the San Diego AIDS Project, the San Diego Community Research Group, and the Tom Homann Law Association (San Diego's Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Law Association). He is also active in the State Bar of California. He served for many years on the State Bar Bankruptcy Advisory Board, Board of Legal Specialization and the Committee on Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity Discrimination.
