Article Submission

California Western welcomes unsolicited manuscripts on topics of interest

Overview

All pieces are evaluated as quickly and efficiently as possible. We assume no responsibility for the return of unsolicited manuscripts unless requested. Manuscripts will be approved for publication only after a board review. If any part of the paper has been published elsewhere, the author must include this information at the time of submission.

Guidelines

When you submit your manuscript, adhering to the following format is appreciated:

  • Form: Manuscripts may be submitted via email in Microsoft Word. Allow margins of at least one inch on all sides of the typed pages.
  • Citations: Citations should conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (18th ed.).
  • Style: Articles should be timely and provide an original, in-depth analysis of a topic of interest, as opposed to a summary of previous research efforts.
  • Vita: The title page should include the author's full name, his or her academic/professional affiliations, and complete contact information for whom correspondence can be made.
